This individual was born in the last 1950’s. He has two sisters; he is a middle child! This year’s winner came from California over two decades ago. He is a graduate of UC-Davis with a bachelor of science degree. His favorite color is blue and he loves flank steak with peas and pearl onions. He was an All American Swimmer at his high school and had a run in with a walnut tree in his parent’s Volkswagen that he has yet to live down. His proudest college accomplishment was winning at Frisbee golf. The recipient of this year’s award has worked for a large diversified farming operation north of Prosser for almost 20 years. As general manager, he oversees just under 2,000 acres. He has been married for 18 years to his wife, Marco; they have three children: Amanda is 6 and twins that are 18 months old.
